Do you perform Pap smears and pelvic exams?
Yes. Cervical cancer screening is part of routine preventive care here, performed at intervals appropriate to your age and history. If a finding requires colposcopy or gynecologic surgery, we coordinate the referral and stay involved in your care.
Do you order mammograms?
Yes. We order screening mammography and discuss when to start and how often based on your age, family history, and personal risk — then review the results with you and arrange follow-up imaging or referral if needed.
Can you manage menopause symptoms?
Yes. Hot flashes, sleep disruption, mood changes, and vaginal symptoms are all things we treat. We discuss the full range of options — including hormonal and non-hormonal therapy — weighing your symptoms against your cardiovascular and breast cancer risk.
Do you prescribe birth control?
Yes. We prescribe and manage most contraceptive methods and can discuss which fits your health history and preferences.
Do you screen for osteoporosis?
Yes. We order bone density testing at the recommended intervals, evaluate fracture risk, and treat when indicated with medication, vitamin D, calcium, and weight-bearing exercise guidance.
Do you handle pregnancy care?
We do not provide prenatal or obstetric care, but we do perform pre-conception counseling, confirm pregnancy, and refer you to an obstetric practice. We resume your primary care after delivery.
Do you treat UTIs and other common concerns?
Yes — urinary tract infections, yeast infections, irregular or heavy periods, thyroid problems, iron deficiency, and other common concerns are managed here, often with a same-day appointment.
